HERMANN, Mo. — A ribbon cutting to celebrate the opening of a new Amtrak station in Hermann will take place Friday, Sept. 12, at 10 a.m. The Missouri River Runner train scheduled to arrive in Hermann at 10:49 a.m. that morning will be held briefly for photos, according to city officials. Officials from Amtrak, the Missouri Department of Transportation, Union Pacific Railroad and the city of Hermann, as well as architects and contractors involved with the project, will be on hand for the ceremony.
