WASHINGTON, D.C. — Class I freight railroads trimmed 424 jobs from payrolls from mid-June to mid-July 2011, according to a report from the Journal of Commerce.
Included in the cutbacks were train and engine service employees, who saw their numbers decline by 0.87 percent.
