SLINGER, Wisc. — Evacuations from a train derailment here ended overnight, and crews began Monday morning removing the damaged engines and rail cars from the tracks where about 4,000 gallons of diesel fuel had spilled. The freight train derailed Sunday night when it hit rail cars from another train at a crossing, a spokesman said, forcing the evacuation of more than 100 nearby homes because of the diesel spill. Two crew members with Canadian National Railway Co. suffered minor injuries.
