OTTAWA — Baffinland Iron Mines Corp. director Brian Acton bought 26,300 company common shares at $1.21 each on Sept 9, 2008, bringing these holdings to 79,550 shares.

Canadian National Railway Co. director James Gray exercised 39,000 options for company common shares at prices ranging from $11.67 to $25.59 on Sept 12, 2008. He sold all of these shares the same day at prices ranging from $55 to $55.24, bringing these holdings back to 57,298 shares.

CN Rail’s CEO Hunter Harrison exercised 120,000 options for company common shares at $13.65 each on Sept 12, 2008. He sold all of these shares the same day at $52.06 each, bringing these holdings back to 59,355 shares.

Great-West Lifeco Inc. chief financial officer William Lovatt sold 26,000 company common shares at $31.44 each on Sept 11, 2008, bringing these holdings to 190,937 shares.

Exxon Mobil Corp. sold 950,130 shares of Imperial Oil Ltd. from Sept 8 to Sept 12, 2008 through Roytor & Co. Exxon is Imperial’s majority shareholder. Imperial Oil bought back and canceled 415,000 company common shares over the same period.

Maple Leaf Foods Inc. director Purdy Crawford bought 40,000 company common shares at prices ranging from $8.53 to $8.69 on Sept 15, 2008, bringing his total common share holdings to 71,390 shares.
