MONTREAL — Canadian National Railway Co. has reached a tentative deal on a new contract with the union representing 67 CN police officers in Canada.
Details of the three-year collective agreement with the Canadian National Railways Police Association, replacing one that expired Dec. 31, are being withheld pending ratification, CN said Friday in a release.
CN is still bargaining with four other unions in Canada. It renewed its contract with the Canadian Auto Workers and reached a tentative deal with the Teamsters Canada Rail Conference/Rail Canada Traffic Controllers.
On the Toronto stock market Friday, CN shares (TSX:CNR) rose two cents to $51.
