LEXINGTON, Neb. — A coal train derailed Monday night, causing a few grass fires and damage to railroad tracks, a wire service reports.

No injuries were reported after the 15 cars left the track around 6 p.m. CST on Monday.

Lexington Fire Chief Bob Martin said there was some damage to railroad crossings, which were closed on the city’s western edge.
