NEWARK — Members of the state’s Congressional delegation added their voices to those urging a settlement between a coalition of 11 rail unions and NJ Transit before a 90-day cooling off period ends on March 13. The unions have been working without a new contract since 2011. “NJT should seriously consider the Presidential Emergency Board (PEB) 249 proposal, authored by a neutral panel of independent arbitrators appointed by the President, as a path forward,” they wrote.
