Connecticut DOT blaming Amtrak for decision to lease old rail cars for Hartford Line

HARTFORD, Conn. — Connecticut officials are blaming their decision to lease aged rail cars from Massachusetts for the new Hartford Line commuter service on Amtrak’s failure to complete electrification of the Shore Line East railroad.
