CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — Energy logistics providers USD Partners and Gibson Energy expect construction of a diluent recovery unit (DRU) to begin next month at the Hardisty Terminal in Alberta, Canada. The unit will enable freight trains to transport a type of heavy crude oil from Alberta to the U.S. Gulf Coast. CP Rail and KCS will be involved in the project.
