NORTH PLATTE, Neb. — A 42-year-old North Platte man died in an incident at Bailey Yard on Saturday morning. According to Justin Jacobs, a spokesman with Union Pacific Railroad, the incident occurred about 9 a.m. on the grounds of the railyard west of North Platte. The person involved worked for a contract company that UP uses, Jacobs said.
