CALGARY — The chief operating officer of Canadian Pacific Railway is retiring in March, the company announced Monday.
Ed Dodge, also an executive vice president at CP Rail, spent 35 years with the railway in a broad range roles in operations, marketing and sales. CEO Rob Ritchie also announced Monday that Fred Green has been appointed executive vice-president for operations and marketing, effective Jan. 1. He will report to Ritchie.
Green has 25 years of experience with CP Rail and was most recently senior vice-president, marketing and sales.
CP Rail is Canada’s second-biggest railway with a 22,500-kilometre rail network stretching from Montreal to Vancouver, and into the U.S. Northeast and Midwest regions.
