ANAMOOSE, N.D. — The Canadian Pacific Railway says 39 coal cars on a 118-car train derailed near Anamoose, southeast of Minot.

The railroad says no one was hurt.

CP Rail spokeswoman Breanne Feigel says the train was eastbound when the cars went off the tracks about 3:45 a.m., Sunday. The cause of the derailment is not yet known.

Feigel said the line will remain closed while the tracks repaired.

No other trains were scheduled to use the line early this week.
