REGINA — The Canadian Pacific Railway said Monday that its new Regina intermodal freight facility has started operations. Located in the Global Transportation Hub (GTH) area on the city’s western edge, it’s been under construction since the summer of 2011, when since-deposed president Fred Green took a vintage train full of politicians, civic dignitaries and reporters to the site of the planned facility on the north side of the CPR main line near the giant Canadian Logistics Services warehouse.
