TORONTO — Canadian Pacific Railway Ltd.’s locomotive engineers, conductors and yard workers represented by the Teamsters Canada Rail Conference voted to approve a new five-year contract, the union said.
The agreement, retroactive to Jan. 1, 2007, covers 4,500 employees of CP Rail to the end of 2011, the union said late yesterday in a statement distributed by Marketwire. Calgary- based CP Rail is the country’s second-largest railroad.
