MANASSAS, Va. — Crews in Prince William County are cleaning up a train derailment in Manassas this afternoon.
Four cars from a Norfolk Southern freight train derailed just before 2 p.m. near Prince William Street and Wellington Road in Manassas.
Investigators aren’t sure what caused the train to jump the tracks.
There were no reports of any injuries.
There was also no impact on afternoon service on Amtrak or the Virginia Railway Express.
