CSX claims August coal pier collision caused more than $22 million in damages

BALTIMORE, Md. — The collision between a Panama-owned tanker and a Curtis Bay coal pier caused damages in excess of $22 million — more than four times the original claim — according to documents filed in U.S. District Court by CSX Transportation, the pier owner.
