CUMBERLAND, Md. — While the hiring is already underway, CSX has confirmed that hundreds, and eventually thousands of workers will be hired to fill new jobs at the growing railroad. The railroad needs workers, since there’s increased demand for the rail freight business all across the country, but especially in the northern tier of CSX’s operations, company officials said.
