ATLANTA — Rumor has it that CSX Transportation is selling Hulsey Yard, its intermodal facility next to Cabbagetown. Not so, the company said.
“It’s not for sale,” explained Gary Sease, CSX’s director of corporate communications. “And there are no discussions that I’m aware of.”
The rumor may have gotten started when Trust for Public Land was working on its Beltline study and visited Craig Camuso, CSX’s regional vice president, about relocating the piggyback facility. “I said anything is possible,” Camuso said. “But it comes at a price, and it’s not cheap.”
