HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — The governor’s office, CSX Transportation and the mayor of Huntington all confirm a major jobs announcement will be made Tuesday morning in Huntington.
Governor Joe Manchin’s office is calling it a significant economic development announcement that has to do with the railroad industry. CSX, which has a large operation in Huntington, says the 11 a.m. announcement has to do with skilled workers.
The announcement will take place CSX headquarters on 7th Avenue. Huntington Mayor David Felinton says the result of the announcement will enhance his city’s economy.
