A spokesman for CSX Corp. provided few additional details Wednesday about an accident that injured a railroad employee Tuesday night in Covington. The worker was found in the Jackson River in Covington, Va., on Tuesday evening (February 8), and taken by helicopter to a local hospital.

CSX spokesman Bob Sullivan would neither identify the worker nor describe the circumstances of the accident, which was reported to the Covington Rescue Squad at 7:19 p.m. Tuesday. Covington police said Tuesday that the accident victim was found in the Jackson River near the riverbank in the area of 104 Riverside St.
