FRAMINGHAM, Mass. — Two train cars containing loads of paper went off the track yesterday at about 9:30 a.m. behind the BankNorth ATM on California Avenue.

The CSX train was traveling to a customer in the area to deliver paper, a spokeswoman said.

She would not disclose who the customer was.

One box car ended up completely on its side, with the roof buckling under its weight, while the other car went slightly off the track.

The track is owned by the customer, and is not maintained by CSX, the spokeswoman said.
