CLEVELAND, May 4 — The standard registration fee for the 2007 SMA ($79) at Walt Disney World is quickly coming to an end. The last day to take advantage of this rate is May 10.
From May 11 to June 9, the registration amount will increase to $89 per person. Starting on June 10, the “at-the-door” registration fee will be $105. The convention runs from June 10-15 at the Coronado Springs Resort at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Fla.
The increasing fee amounts are due to the higher costs the SMA arrangements committee incurs by making last minute changes to their contracts, explained Brother Earl Karper, chairman of this year’s SMA. All three fee classes DO NOT include the $20 SMA dues, which need to accompany the registration of anyone who is a BLET member (please note that only BLET members need to pay the dues amount, and that registrations are NOT considered complete unless the appropriate SMA dues are included).
“I ask that anyone interested in joining us in Walt Disney World this June, please register as soon as possible,” said SMA Chairman Earl Karper. “Some of the activities have already reached capacity or are at their deadline for adding participants. The longer you wait, the fewer choices you will have!
“Make your stay at the Coronado Springs Resort in Walt Disney World the best it can be by registering and choosing as soon as possible,” he said.
In addition to a number of educational workshops, the planners of this year’s SMA have also scheduled a number of fun-filled family events. Entertainment options include a Polynesian luau, a tour of the Walt Disney Railroad steam trains at the Magic Kingdom, golf tournament on a PGA graded course, a motorcycle ride and many other exciting possibilities not only at Walt Disney World, but throughout the greater Orlando area as well.
Members should go to the 2007 SMA website to register online as soon as possible: http://www.2007sma.com.
