CLEVELAND, April 28 — The Teamsters Disaster Relief Fund is accepting applications for assistance from members in the state of Georgia after severe storms, tornadoes and flooding caused major damage from March 14-16.
If you or someone you know needs help, please call the Teamsters Disaster Relief Fund office at: (202) 624-8971. If you were impacted by the storms, please download and complete the “Request for Help” form available below. The completed “Request for Help” forms (including all requested documentation) must be returned to the Teamsters by Monday, April 28, 2008.
To help increase awareness of this valuable assistance, members who live and work in the affected areas are asked to print and post the following notice at their places of work:
