WASHINGTON, D.C. — House Democrats plan to introduce a bill to restore funding to the Federal Aviation Administration, the Washington Post has reported. The newspaper also reports that the FAA had to shut down partially on Friday (July 22) due to Congressional Republican inactivity. As a result, 4,000 workers have been furloughed and the federal government is losing $30 million per day in ticket tax revenue.
