LAVALE, Md. — Donna Jenkins has lived in Hyndman, Pennsylvania, for 47 years. “Never a derailment in all those years until now,” Jenkins, one of dozens of evacuees staying at LaVale’s Holiday Inn Express, said Thursday, a day after a 32-car derailment of a CSX freight train forced relocation of hundreds of residents from the Bedford County community.
