CLEVELAND, May 1 — BLET members are asked to lend some moral support to Division 13 Local Chairman Charlie Sheets and his family. His 18-year-old son, Chad, is currently in intensive care with significant head trauma following a severe automobile accident on April 26.
Chad, a high school senior, sustained head and chest trauma in addition to a fractured elbow in the accident, which happened near Holmen, Wisc. Following the crash, he was transported to Gundersen Lutheran Hospital in La Crosse, Wisc., where he remains in the intensive care unit.

Charlie Sheets is a Burlington Northern Santa Fe locomotive engineer who serves the BLET as Local Chairman of Division 13 in La Crosse, Wisc. He first joined the Brotherhood on February 1, 1977, and transferred his membership to Division 13 in 1988.
