Application deadlines are swiftly approaching for two valuable scholarship opportunities that are available to the dependents of BLET members:
• March 2 is the deadline for the James R. Hoffa Memorial Scholarship Fund, which awards college scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $10,000, in addition to vocational/training scholarships ranging from $500 to $2,000. Application information and other details can be found at JRHMSF.org.
• April 1 is the deadline to apply for aid from the Teamsters Scholarship Fund, which awards 600 one-time $2,000 awards. For more information or to apply, please visit teamster.org/scholarships.
