SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — The State Journal-Register is reporting that a rail-consolidation study in Springfield, Ill., will be rolled into a larger study of the St. Louis-Chicago rail corridor, according to U.S. Senator Dick Durbin (D-Ill.).
