A day after angry residents repeatedly interrupted a railroad company official at a town hall, Ohio Governor Mike DeWine’s office released the results of health assessment surveys conducted in East Palestine, revealing the most common symptoms reported by residents since the toxic train derailment include headaches, anxiety and coughing. Other symptoms reported since the derailment about one month ago were fatigue, irritation, pain and a burning sensation on the skin, according to a statement from the governor’s office.
