CLEVELAND, November 29 — As BLET Divisions nationwide conclude their Triennial Election of officers, the BLET National Division reminds incumbent Division Secretary-Treasurers of their duty to report election results electronically.
All incumbent S-Ts, whether or not they win reelection, are required to file election results on the BLET website within five days of the conclusion of the elections. Election results should be available at each Division’s December meeting.
Division Secretary-Treasurers can report the election results on the BLET website in the same area where they file their monthly reports (www.ble-t.org/streport). A new link has been added in the ST Report section for “report election results” under the Triennial Elections area.
Secretary-Treasurers with technical questions regarding the website should direct them to Walt Schmidt, Director of Online Services, at Webmaster@ble-t.org.
Failure to report election results in a timely fashion is not only a violation of the BLET’s bylaws, but could also result in potential registration problems for incoming Secretary-Treasurers using the STReport software on the BLET’s website.
