STOCKTON, Calif. — An Amtrak San Joaquin train heading west from Stockton struck a truck trailer stuck on the tracks in the Delta near Whiskey Slough Marina on Monday afternoon. One member of the train crew was transported to a hospital for observation, but no other injuries were reported to the California Highway Patrol. The injured Amtrak employee is believed to be the train engineer.
