LANSING, Mich. — An ex-railroad worker from Michigan has claimed the third-largest Powerball jackpot in history.
Donald Lawson, 44, claimed the $337 million prize on August 31, electing to take the prize in a lump-sum payment of $224.6 million. According to the Associated Press, Lawson said he quit his railroad job shortly after confirming he had the winning numbers.
