PHILADELPHIA — A blast at a SEPTA depot hurt three workers, including one who needed emergency medical treatment for second degree burns.
Chopper 6 flew over the SEPTA depot at 20th and Johnston where a boiler exploded. It happened a little after 7 a.m.
Emergency crews treated three workers at the scene. Paramedics took one of them to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
That worker has second-degree burns over much of his body.
There’s no word yet on what caused the explosion.
