PHILADELPHIA — Rail service on one of SEPTA’s busiest lines died Thursday night. Catenary power lines were damaged in both Ardmore and Paoli within a 30-minute period, killing service to the Paoli/Thorndale Line beginning about 5:30 p.m. Service wasn’t restored until 5:30 a.m. Friday.
