TOPEKA, Kan. — Two Topeka men had no idea the liquid that leaked from a rail car while they repaired track for BNSF Railway would hurt them, the pair said Wednesday. When injuries, including nose bleeds and trouble breathing, prevented them from continuing as welders for the railroad, Larry Lincoln and Brad Mosbrucker tried to transfer to other roles. BNSF passed on them for other hires, the men alleged in a federal lawsuit filed in Topeka that sought relief under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
