CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) and the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) are authorizing the bulk transportation of liquefied natural gas (LNG) by rail via a final rule that the agencies issued on Friday.
