JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Two senior members of Florida’s congressional delegation are fighting over a plan to privatize rail service in the Northeast.
On Wednesday, Republican U.S. Rep. John Mica unveiled a plan to privatize Amtrak service from Washington to Boston. But even before Mica spoke, Democratic U.S. Rep. Corrine Brown was bashing the plan.
Mica and Brown both sit on the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee.
