ALBURQUERQUE, N.M. — Today, the BMWE held elections to fill the offices of President and Secretary-Treasurer due to the retirement earlier this year of former BMWE President Mac A. Fleming following an extended medical leave.
Both Simpson and Geller, who had each been serving on an interim basis to fill the vacancies to which they are now elected, will serve their respective terms of office in accordance with the BMWE Constitution and Bylaws.
President Simpson conveyed his appreciation to the members of the International Association for their support stating, “I am gratified to be officially elected as your president and look forward to moving our organization forward together with the membership and the rest of the officers and staff.”
