SACRAMENTO — A broken part on a long freight train caused a big problem in north Sacramento Thursday.
The Burlington North train was stopped after engineers noticed a draw bar failure. Several busy intersections, including the one at El Camino Avenue and Colfax, closed because of the problem.
All of the cars in the train had to be detached and moved before repairs could be made.
The train was cleared about 5:15 p.m.
