ORLANDO, Fla. — Freight trains slowly moving through the heart of Central Florida can throw off a bus schedule, make you late for an important appointment or add a dose of frustration to an already tough day at work.
SunRail is eight months from carrying its first paying passenger, but motorists already are seeing one benefit. Freight trains have stopped running from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., and starting next spring, they will be banned in the late afternoon and early evening, too.
