CLEVELAND, October 31 — Friends and family members of five Tucson men lost in the Gulf of California have set up a fund to help cover the costs of hiring charter planes to look for the men. Donations to the Fishermen Rescue Fund can be made at any Bank of America branch.

Among the missing is Randy Howard, a member of BLE Division 28 (Tucson). Brother Howard joined the BLE in 1989. His son, Joshua, 21, is also missing.

The five men had gone to Puerto Peñasco, Mexico, also known as Rocky Point, to go sport fishing Saturday morning and were expected back in port Saturday night. When they failed to return, Mexican officials began searching for the boat. The overturned boat was found, but none of the men were on board.

BLE Division 28 has contributed $500 to the Rescue Fund. Any and all donations would be greatly appreciated.
