ROCKFORD, Tenn. — A multimillion investment could be paying off big for a Rockford company that took a chance to keep a popular and environmentally friendly wood preservative on the market.
Nisus Corp. said it has received a commitment from Norfolk Southern, one of the largest railroads in the country, to use copper naphthenate, a wood preservative used in pressure treated railroad ties, telephone poles and bridge timbers.
