NEW YORK — A report of shots fired near the Wyandanch train station shortly after 5 p.m. yesterday caused 25- minute delays on three eastbound trains and a westbound train during rush hour, Long Island Rail Road officials said.

Although the four trains on the Ronkonkoma line were halted, police investigators said they could find no shooting suspects or victims yesterday evening, said MTA spokesman Tom Kelly.

Passengers remained on the trains until service was restored, said Sam Zambuto, an LIRR spokesman. The incident is under investigation.
