GREENWICH, Conn. — Genesee & Wyoming Inc. (GWI) announced on August 29 that it has completed the acquisition of the Utah Railway Company (UTAH), a wholly owned subsidiary of Mueller Industries, Inc. GWI funded the $54 million cash purchase under its $103 million revolving credit facility. UTAH operates over 423 miles of track from Provo, Utah to Grand Junction, Colorado.
