NORMAN, Okla. — Norman’s only passenger rail service, the Heartland Flyer, will receive funding for at least another year, and the train could double its service in the future. Wednesday, the Oklahoma Department of Transportation sent out a Request for Qualifications for the passenger rail service to decrease costs and potentially increase the route from two to four trains per day.
