WASHINGTON — Northern Virginia commuters can expect to spend more time than usual on the train ride home tonight.
Virginia Railway Express is warning of delays on the evening commute because of heat restrictions ordered by CSX.
The freight company owns the entire Fredericksburg Line, where VRE says there could be 15-20-minute delays.
The Manassas Line only uses CSX tracks between Union Station and Alexandria, so delays there should be shorter.
