WASHINGTON, D.C. — Rail commuters will have a slow ride home from D.C. tonight. Freight operator CSX has heat related speed restrictions in effect, meaning commuter trains using those tracks have to go 20-miles-an-hour slower than normal.

Virginia Railway Express riders can expect delays of up to 15-minutes on the Fredericksburg Line and minor delays on the Manassas Line.
