RENO, Nevada — The Nevada Department of Public Safety-Highway Patrol Division recognized four individuals with a Citizen Commendation certificate, while two others received a Medal of Valor award, for their bravery following a fatal Amtrak crash near Reno, Nevada, on June 24, 2011.
