BRUNSWICK, Maine — A stretch of track between Freeport and Brunswick has been selected as a test site for a new high-tech railroad trespassing deterrence system.

The Maine Department of Transportation learned it will receive a grant from the Federal Rail Administration to pay for the system, which includes remote sensors, wireless video cameras and other gadgetry intended to keep people off dangerous sections of track.
