WASHINGTON — Flooding from a weekend of heavy rain disrupted Amtrak service between Philadelphia and Washington, D.C., early Monday.

Early morning service on the Northeast Corridor between Washington and Philadelphia was canceled, with limited service resuming at 6:30 a.m. north of the capital.

Service south of the capital was canceled because of washout conditions on CSX railroad tracks.
